Believe it or not, you can change you’re workers’ attitude!

There are easy methods you can use to make your workers feel better and comfortable with the place they’re working.

If they feel like they belong in your company they will feel more compromised to it, and will consequently always try to give their best.

To make them all feel like they belong, you have to make them feel welcome, comfortable and cared about.

It’s very simple:

Happy workers means a better work environment, which means the job gets done more effectively and your business’ incomes goes up.

Here are a few methods you can apply in order to make your employees feel happier and motivated:

1)           Make sure they’re comfortable

The environment in which your employees spend a lot of hours a day should be as comfortable as possible.

This way they will feel free and happy in the place they’re working.

You can provide that comfort they need just by having a little change on the work place, like better furniture, replacing boring tables with big sophisticated concrete conference tables, air conditioning their offices, better and faster computers, tools, and supplies, etc.

2)            Make sure they know you are their friend

They need to look at you as a friends rather than a grumpy boss.

Of course they need to understand that you are superior to them but they also have to feel like they can share their thoughts with you freely.

Just simple things like smiling to them, always saying hello and having genuine interest on their lives and their comments will make them feel happy and will likely share their opinions with you.

3)           Make sure you remember theirs birthdays

Nothing’s better than having the people that always surround you to celebrate you at least for a minute the day of your birthday.

As the boss, you have to pay attention to their birthdays and keep a track of them. Congratulate them and try to purchase cake or any other thing you can share with everybody.

4)           Make sure you let your workers know how proud you are of them

Every single time one of your employees achieves a goal try to let them know how proud you are about that.

Try to congratulate them in public. This will have a huge impact on their self-esteem and will also encourage other employees to do the same!

The work will be done more effectively and more quickly if everybody’s motivated!
